The police public relations officer (PPRO) for Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe, named the suspects as one Mallam Sa’ad Ahmed Baba (57), of no. 12 Lagos Street, Cablepoint, Asaba and Halima Abubakar, female, aged 25 years of Jaret, Cablepoint, Asaba. Following reports of extortion of truck drivers and other motorists by thugs and some recalcitrant law enforcement officers, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has set up an enforcement team with the mandate of raiding spots that have been identified as notorious for such nefarious activities.
